Xenonex – addressing the leadership skills gap in FE.
Xenonex are delighted to be again working in partnership with City & Guilds and KPMG in developing Leadership & Management skills within the Further Education Sector.
Building on the success of the Certificate in Leadership & Management in FE aimed at middle managers we are now pleased to be part of an additional programme designed to meet the needs of senior leaders.
And the timing couldn’t be better. According to a recent survey conducted by City & Guilds, staff development ranked as one of the key challenges currently faced by college senior leadership teams, however it was also ranked as one of the lowest priorities for college leaders to address. This highlights a clear manifestation of the management and leadership skills gap in FE.
Designed specifically for FE, the Leadership & Management programme focuses on the exact skills and behaviours senior leaders need to excel in the FE sector today.

Both the Senior Leader and Middle Manager programmes are delivered in - house so can be tailored to specific leadership needs and delivered to a timeframe that suits individual orgnaisations. The aim of the programme is to provide continued leadership support that stands the test of time, resulting in embedded behaviour change as well as demonstrating a plan to identify and develop current and future leaders.
